Secretary Tourism Calls on Chief Minister, Discusses Development of Tourism Sector

Gilgit: Secretary Tourism, Sports & Culture Gilgit-Baltistan, Sardar Asad Haroon, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister's Office and congratulated the newly elected Honorable Chief Minister, Mr. Amjad Hussain Azar, on assuming office. During the meeting, Secretary Tourism Sardar Asad Haroon briefed the Chief Minister on key priorities for the tourism sector and discussed measures to strengthen tourism infrastructure, improve visitor experiences, and unlock the vast tourism potential of Gilgit-Baltistan. Secretary Tourism appreciated the Honorable Chief Minister's assurance of full support and facilitation for initiatives aimed at the development of the tourism sector. He reaffirmed the Tourism Department's commitment to working in close coordination with the provincial government to promote sustainable tourism, enhance tourism-related facilities, and further establish Gilgit-Baltistan as a premier travel destination at the national and international levels. The meeting concluded with the Chief Minister reiterating the provincial government's commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that will contribute to the sustainable growth of the tourism sector and the overall economic development of Gilgit-Baltistan.
