Kharfaq Lake is located 2 km (away from the Kharfaq village and is around a 3-hour hike. The lake is a high-altitude natural lake in the Karakoram mountain range in Kharfaq Valley, District Ghanche. Renowned for its indigenous fish species, including thousands of trout and desi fish, the lake and its surroundings are a vital wildlife habitat. The best time to visit is July and August, while in winter, the snow-covered lake offers stunning views.
